So many thanks, friend! We have about 4” snow this morning. It’s beautiful but tapering off. I can try painting a scene but a lot of it would stay white and unpainted with so much needing to stay white.🥴
Thanks Debra. Choosing and mixing color is one of my weak areas. Our watercolor instructor most often uses the actual names when referring to colors. I don’t know many of those yet. So much to learn!
Years ago I kept a blog, mostly sharing creative projects from our NJ location I thought would never change. However, life did bring changes and after 46 years in NJ, we now live in beautiful New England. We downsized to a very old historic house in Massachusetts that we fell in love with the first time we saw it. We have spent most of this year settling in and making it our own. My choice for being creative is still painting, but I’m now taking a class in watercolor, something I could never get right. What I’ve learned is that it’s much more involved than I imagined. So I’m going forward with a wonderful instructor, and I look forward to each weekly class. I’ll start this first post with a few favorites and am open to any and all suggestions. I’m looking forward to blogging again, topics not limited. Just post what you have been doing since last we “met”!
This is today’s painting for inspiration. I’ll share some of the class’ work below (click on “Read More”) . We thought it would be super hard but we did pretty well. This class is so much fun and very rewarding.
Good afternoon, I love your painting hugs

DeleteWow Barb, if this is just playing around I can't wait to see your art when you are serious. :) It is beautiful. Well done my friend.
ReplyDeleteAw, thx Nicole. Actually this is a bit serious for me. I seem to relax more without being stressed by small exact details.
DeleteThis is beautiful! Well done, and I love the colors you have chosen. I hope you show more of your painting!
