A Reintroduction

Years ago I kept a blog, mostly sharing creative projects from our NJ location I thought would never change. However, life did bring changes and after 46 years in NJ, we now live in beautiful New England. We downsized to a very old historic house in Massachusetts that we fell in love with the first time we saw it. We have spent most of this year settling in and making it our own. My choice for being creative is still painting, but I’m now

taking a class in watercolor, something I could never get right. What I’ve learned is that it’s much more involved than I imagined. So I’m going forward with a wonderful instructor, and I look forward to each weekly class. I’ll start this first post with a few favorites and am open to any and all suggestions.

I’m looking forward to blogging again, topics not limited. Just post what you have been doing since last we “met”!

  2. It's great to see you online Barb. How do like living in New England? If I remember correctly was it your daughter you lived there? That watercolor class sounds fun, and I hope you get back into blogging regularly too. hugs-Erika

  3. Your three watercolors are beautiful. It's a medium I'm interested in and have played with it, but nothing serious. It probably would be a good idea if I'd take a class as well.
    Welcome back to blogging.

Life slows me down as I am caring for Mom, who has vascular dementia.

  9. Hello Barbara! I came over here from Nicole DVArtist's blog. Watercolours are the bane of my life. SUCH a difficult medium! They make me crazy, but still I keep on.
